Solitaire fills most of this category. It is the card game you can play alone, in a few minutes, with no one waiting on your move. Each version changes one or two rules, which is enough to make it feel new.
Klondike Solitaire Big and Classic Solitaire are the standard game, where you build down in alternating colors and move aces to the foundations. Spider Solitaire 2 Suits asks you to build full runs from king to ace in one suit, and two suits make it harder than the one suit version. Kings and Queens Solitaire Tripeaks is quicker, you clear cards one higher or lower than the top of the pile. Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt pairs cards that add up to thirteen.
Almost everything here plays on a phone, and the big card versions are made for small screens. They are HTML5 games, so nothing needs to be installed.
