Rules of Spider in brief
Cards are dealt into ten columns. You may place a card on any card one rank higher, and a run in the same suit can be moved as a group. Complete a full sequence from King down to Ace in one suit and it leaves the table. When you are stuck, deal a new row from the stock. Clear every card to win.
Playing without a safety net
- Try to empty a column early, it is the most flexible space in Spider.
- Build in the same suit whenever possible so runs can move together.
- Since undo only works once, pause before any move that buries a card you might need.
